Our story

A tavern run by the same family since 1981

At Le Bonséjour, the wood-fired oven sets the pace from early morning. Beneath the beams, between stone walls and the great fireplace, we serve food that bridges Lorraine and Italy: crisp-crusted pizzas, Flammenkueche, grilled meats and hearty regional dishes.

In winter you settle in by the fire; in summer, out on the veranda or the terrace. And since nobody's ever in much of a hurry here, meals tend to end with a café gourmand — coffee with a trio of little desserts.

1981Marie Moulet takes over the house — a building dating back to 1887 — and renames it Bonséjour.

Worthy of a Michelin-starred place, without the prices… from the pizza to the tête de veau, everything is flawless and done the proper way.

Perfect from the welcome to the bill. Excellent food at very fair prices — do remember to book.
